Using the blend mode will adjust the size of the image as well as create a soft border. Select the px filter from the options (if you didn’t select it already.) Click on it, and adjust the levels to the levels of light, dark, or somewhere in between. Using the px filter is another simple way on how to blend on Procreate. If highlights were used, make sure to specify what type of highlight (Levels, Soft Light or Dark) you want. Now fill in the color of your choice, either with highlights or not. Make sure the two are perfectly centered. Next, place your Procreate mask inside the black smudge.
